The Conquest

God wants to restore the world to its original state. Moses successor was Joshua. He was the new leader of Israel. Joshua fought the battle of Jericho. The Israelite's experienced a 400- year period called the judges after Joshua.  Samuel was called by God to be a prophet and judge. The Israelite's was still unhappy and wanted a new King but Samuel warned them the only King they need was God.  But they still rebelled and was not satisfied.
