The Christ

The Moment We Have Been Waiting for!!!  This is where all the covenants start to come together.  John tells us "The word  is coming to us in the flesh. " . Jesus himself was the Word. God sent the angel Gabriel to tell Mary (a virgin girl and Joseph, that she would give birth to Christ and he will fulfill the Davidic covenant. Gabriel explained  with would be through the Holy Spirit. So Jesus was born, in Bethlehem, in a stable. News spread that the Messiah was born and King (Herod) sends an order to slaughter all the boys. But an angel warned Mary and Joseph and they went to Egypt Jesus was a carpenters son. At 12  he began preaching and teaching in the temple. Jesus was full of Wisdom. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. And we learned this baptism the Trinity appeared. Jesus was a perfect man. He was tempted- but did not fail. He warned  the people Redemption was near.  He appointed 12 disciples to work with him and he told them 1 of them would betray him.  Peter betray his friend.. our Lord and they beat, whipped, torched and hung our  Savoir on the cross. And he died.... Jesus had to die to destroy sin- the enemy of Gods Kingdom. Redemption! The only way to destroy sin was the death and resurrection of Christ. Redemption! He died to restore his creation. Redemption! But that's not the end of the story. The only way to destroy sin was the death and resurrection of Christ. He died to restore his creation.. After 3 days he resurrected.  The Resurrection changes everything. If he had just died, we would be still dead in our sins.  We now have new life because of Him. He proved everything he said was true.
